Footloose rocks the house

The spring musical, “Footloose”, was held opening night April 22 starting at 7 p.m., before preforming again April 23 at 7 p.m. as well as April 24 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium. Senior Seth Tack took the role of the lead male character, Ren McCormick, as senior Sarah Henry took the role of the lead female character Ariel Moore. A total of over 800 community members attended throughout the course of the weekend, which caused a shortage of playbills.

“Footloose” is a musical about a boy who moves to the small town of Beaumont from Chicago, he soon finds out the town has a law that does not allow dancing and decides to challenge the law.
