Varsity baseball wins sub-state tournament

The boys’ varsity baseball team won July 15 in the sub-state tournament against Ames 10-0. The game was played for six innings.

The team will play again July 20 at 7:00 p.m. at home against the winner of the sub-state semifinal game between Fort Dodge and Sioux City East.

The state tournament will take place July 22-30 at Principal Park in Des Moines.

07/19/16 UPDATE: The boys’ varsity team will face Fort Dodge after their win against Sioux City East 5-1. The winner will advance to the state tournament.
