Varsity girls’ track team competes at home meet
The girls’ track team competed March 28 against Ankeny Centennial, Dowling and Valley. Jessica Mckee placed first in the varsity 3000m race. Josie Hovey ‘19 placed second, while Brooke Mckee ’20 placed third in the varsity 800m race. Mackenzie Laughlin ‘18, Brooke Mckee ‘20, Taryn Swaim ‘18, Josie Hovey ’19 placed first as a team in the 4 by 800m relay. Avery Kamienski ‘19, Mackenzie Laughlin ‘18, Brooke Mckee ‘20, Josie Hovey ‘19 also placed first as a team in the 4 by 400m relay.
