The National Merit scholar finalists were invited to attend the Feb. 5 board meeting to accept recognition plaques. The finalists were  seniors Josh Boeschen, Austin Busch, Vivian Wu, Katie Giles, Jeff Carley and Mark Gee. Gee was not able to attend the meeting.

Stacy's Prom hosted the first annual Johnston High School Fashion show on Feb. 28. Students dressed in prom outfits to walk down the runway for audience. The cost for the audience was $5 to get in, and the money raised went to Dollars for Scholars and after prom.
