Baseball team receives state championship rings
October 10, 2013
The 2012-2013 varsity baseball team graduates will be returning to the high school on the football team’s senior night against Fort Dodge. The whole team will be awarded their state championship rings on the football field at half-time after the marching band performance on Friday Oct. 9.
Last year’s team was led by Michael Barta, and this was the second time in five years that the varsity baseball team has claimed the state title.
Along with the baseball team being awarded their championship rings, the seniors on the football team will be given recognition before the game. Joining them on the track will be all fall sport senior athletes.
