Boys’ varsity baseball team comes close to state
July 27, 2015
The boys’ varsity baseball team’s last game of the season ended Wednesday, July 22, during the Varsity Substate Final against the East Scarlets. The two teams were going neck and neck in the first half of the game until the Scarlets were eventually able to then end the night with a final score of 4-1, making it to state. The Johnston baseball team as well as those supporting them in the crowd were devastated, but in the end of the day the varsity baseball team ended the season 34-7, one of the best records in JHS history.
