“Venturing is a part of Boy Scouts of America, and its for youth ages 14-21. Its kind of like Boy Scouts, but its co ed and you get to do a lot more high adventure activities. My family is heavily involved in scouting and I wasn’t able to be a part of it for eight years because I’m a girl, and girls aren’t aloud to be in Cub Scouts or Boy Scouts, so as soon as I was 14 I joined. I’ve learned a lot of outdoor skills through it, which is pretty cool.”
