On February 20, 2021, Caleb Helgeson ’21 won the wrestling state championship at 170 pounds. Helgeson won in a 4-1 decision against Des Moines Lincoln’s Mickey Griffin, which includes a takedown in the first period and a reversal in the second period. The Iowa State signee finishes his high school wrestling career the best way possible, on top of the podium.
