The girls varsity softball team took down the Ames High Little Cyclones 2-1 and 6-0 at home on June 25.

The first game ended with a walk off double by sophomore and left fielder Brooke Sandstone.

Game two ended in the sixth inning with a run rule of 6-0 by the Dragons. The bats were hot and brought in a steady stream of two runs an inning.

The JV team run-ruled the Little Cyclones in the third inning 12-0.

The next game will be in Indianola on June 26.
