Elementary School Teacher Parade

On March 25, 2020 the teachers from each Elementary School gathered in their cars at their respective buildings and set off on routes specific to their school. The parade and their routes were released by the district on their social media and website on March 24, 2020. The teachers decked out their cars in decorations like signs and streamers for the students. Each teacher drove along the route waving and smiling at students, some teachers brought along their families and pets to participate as well. The district stressed that participants and watchers should maintain six feet of space between each other at all times, in order for all parties to remain safe and healthy. The teachers and administration of the Elementary Schools are expressing that they miss their students in their classrooms and they cannot wait to have them back at school.
