After school March 25 Family, Career and Community Leaders of America members met to make baby blankets that will be donated to the NICU, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as soon as they are finished. FCCLA is made up of approximately 15 students and they meet about every week. Juniors Hayley Signs and Grace Smith will be participating at the state competition which will take place March 30 through 31.

“You can take a project, like Toys for Tots and share it with different communities,” Signs said. “Our project that will be presented at state is a recycle and design activity that I did with the special needs kids where we make recycled picture frames out of newspapers.”

FCCLA has been been slowly growing this past year, as Signs and Smith have been bringing more ideas and projects for them to accomplish.
