On Saturday February 12, 2022, Johnston show choirs dominated the competition. Sound advice won first place in the 9th grade division, with Dylan O’Connor winning outstanding soloist. Synergy won first place as well as best band, best visuals, and best vocals; Aubrey Clark won outstanding soloist. Bella Voce won fourth place in the prep division and won best crew. Innovation won first place in the open division with Justin Vis winning outstanding soloist and Alex Wear winning outstanding instrumentalist, as well as best band, best visuals, and best vocals. Ella Boes ‘24, Bella Voce member said, “It went well! I think we had our best performance to date.
