Already a pretty slow album, The Neighbourhood’s newest album “Wiped Out!” released Oct. 30 still holds their signature sound is still present but the vocals are lighter and don’t hold that heavy sound like “Afraid” off of “I Love You”. “Prey” would have to be on my top favorites from the album due to the similar sound to the band Memoir, an indie rock band, who have a west coast vibe. Though I wouldn’t consider this to be my typical sing along song, it fits into the background music category. Overall I’d give the song a 3.5 out of 5 just because though I intend to continue listening to the song, I wouldn’t say it’s got something that really catches my ears.
