“The worst things always happen to the best people, and that seems to be my entire life. My mom works at Child Serve and has spent her life for last couple years helping adults living in group homes who have special needs. On the first day of school she found out she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She goes and spends all her life selflessly and, its always her who gets the worst in life. She has to work a ton of overtime to try and pay the crazy medical bills because she works at a non profit and it doesn’t make enough money to cover anything.”
