On April 27, 2022 the student council hosted their first “normal” senior challenge in three years. 20 teams of seniors all competed against each other in a tournament that consisted of every team competing in nine different “minute to win it” style games. After the first nine games, points were calculated and the top four teams continued on. Each team included eight students and one teacher sponsor.

Everyone had a different game they had fun with and thrived at. Jenna Woodsmall ‘22 enjoyed playing scrabble the most. Her team was one of the highest scoring teams at scrabble. Not only did the seniors get to play games, they also got an opportunity to build relationships with others. “I think events like this always bring the community together and bring people joy…any time we can get a lot of students and staff together to have fun and laugh, it’s a great thing.” said Woodsmall.

Senior challenge was a good chance for seniors to bond with their closest friends and other classmates, before each going their own ways. These last few times spent together are some of the most memorable for seniors. The night concluded with celebration, cookies, and medals for the winning team.
