Seniors win annual Powder puff game
October 2, 2015
The underdog sophomores defeated the junior team in the annual JHS powder puff game Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. with a score of 20-8. Powder puff is a homecoming football event which gives the sophomore, junior and senior girls a chance to switch roles with the boys and play a competitive flag football game against their peers. Student council organized it so that the winner of the sophomore-junior game plays the senior team in the finals. The sophomore team beat the juniors giving them more confidence going into the final, but they fell short losing 36-0 and the seniors were able to go home with the win.
