The Innovation and Synergy show choirs had a delay on their way home from the Davenport Great River Show Choir Invitational. The show choir Directors made the decision, after talking with Activities Director Joe Nelson, to stop in Newton, Iowa for the night. Due to the short notice, the show choir had to be split into three hotels. When they arrived home however, parents were cleaning off and shoveling out cars. It was an unexpected and extremely appreciated action.
