Sophomore football players and cheer team wore pink for sophomores Noah Richards and Wyatt Schmitt whose parents passed away last year. During the game on Oct. 22 the parents wore pink or the shirts that they had made. The shirts they made featured words on the front that said “Always in our hearts, class of 2016” and on the back they said “Johnston Football.”
