Students cook cinnamon rolls to share
Students in Jennifer Smith’s culinary class prepared cinnamon rolls that they would share with whomever they invited, including faculty Nov. 10.
The event gave the students the opportunity to do not only the cooking aspect of culinary, but also the serving part. “I learned that yeast takes a long time to grow and make something from it,” said Kiersten Bahr ’19. “It was really fun.”
The Cinnamon Roll Extravaganza is an event that helps students show the hospitality side of culinary rather than just meal preparation.
