Tired of Talking

Swedish artist LÉON’s debut single “Tired of Talking” honestly had me tired of listening after about two repeats. Within the first verse I truly enjoyed her voice which has a unique undertone however when it came to the chorus the constant snapping and overused falsetto made my head spin, not in a good way. LÉON’s voice did show strong maturity for a new artist for which I give props to, but the repetitive and annoying chorus shot it down yet again. But, if a classic folk with a resounding pop sound is really your type of music go for it. Personally I would have much rather heard the artist with a Florence and the Machine type song but taken down an octave. For LÉON’s first single I would rate it a 2.5 out of 5 just because of how darn unrepeatable the song is, but if her EP or album goes in the Florence and the Machine direction, count me in.
