The boys’ soccer team beat Ames 1-0 June 5 in the first round of the state tournament. Sophomore Elvir Ibisevic scored the only goal of the game late in the second half.

The Dragons stay undefeated at 20-0 as they advance onto the semifinals against Linn-Mar Marion. The game will be played at the Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines on June 6 at 5 p.m.
