AP French students took a field trip Dec. 13 to experience an authentic French meal. Students travelled to a nearby home where author and chef Wini Moranville prepared several dishes and explained the process of how to make them. Moranville wrote “La Bonne Femme Cookbook” showcasing French food prepared in everyday French homes. “I liked the authenticity of the trip,” Jillian Gabby ’17 said. “I felt like I was in a French kitchen eating an authentic French meal.”

Moranville served comté cheese, gougères, butterhead lettuce salad with walnuts and comté, butternut squash bisque with sweet curry and crêpes.
