A duo of seniors stole the show at the Girls Basketball home opener. Maya McDermott ’20 had 35 points, four rebounds, and five assists to open the season. Kendall Nead ’20, the second part of the dynamic duo, had 24 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. The girls got an early lead and never let that lead go. They led 38-30 at the half and by the end of the game they extended it to a 10 point lead. The girls dominated defensively while also staying out of foul trouble. They had, as a team, 8 steals and only one person with 3 or more fouls.
