Girls’ basketball season ends with loss at first round of state

The varsity girls’ basketball team went on to the quarterfinal for state March 4. They played against Dowling Catholic, but lost 58-52.

In the first and second quarter of the game, the girls were down by seven but quickly made a comeback and managed to obtain a lead of four points. The girls kept their lead until the last four minutes of the third quarter. The Dragons began fouling the Dowling Catholic Maroons and lost their lead.
