Girls’ track runs well at home meet
The girls’ track team competed at home on April 11. They competed against Boone, Ankeny Centennial, Waukee, Iowa City West, Des Moines North, and Gilbert. Jessica Mckee ‘18 and Brooke Mckee ‘20 placed second and third in the 1500m run. Mackenzie Laughlin ’18, Kendall Nead ’20, Josie Hovey ’19, and Brooke Mckee ‘20 competed as a team in the 4 by 800m relay team and placed first. The team’s next meet is Monday, April 24 at Dowling Catholic.
