Into The Wild

Into The Wild

This song, by Connell Cruise on the album “Into The Wild”, really caught me by surprise. Just going off of the title I thought that this was going to be an intense and almost violent song. That is why it was such a relief to hear the playful chorus and fun lyrics.

It only took a few times of hearing the song to get it stuck in my head for hours afterwards. The beat felt as if the singer did not have a care in the world, and was really having fun. The same goes for the instrumental. The song never loses its energy and is never too repetitive. It was non stop fun until the very end.

The lyrics completely capture the feeling of running free and just being wild. Constantly speaking of doing whatever you want whenever you want. This kind of attitude is the kind of an adventurous, wild animal. The kind of attitude we wish we had all the time. That may never happen, but this song will give that feeling for a short while.

To be completely honest, this is just a “feel good” song that is not meant to be thought about that much. Yet this helps the song much more than it hurts it. I give this song 3.5 out of 5 starsĀ because itĀ is so uncommon that we get such a joyful song like this one. I would definitely give it a listen and see if you get something good out of it.
