Johnston girls' and boys' bowling team went up against Ankeny Centennial and left victorious in the first meet of the high school season on Dec. 1. Carter Lundgren '17 scored a total of 422, and Madison Singleton '19 scored a total of 457, totaling the highest on their teams.

Opening up the season the Dragons wrestled against the Roosevelt Roughriders Dec. 1. The Dragons won the wrestling dual meet 51-18.
