Men’s bowling team loses to Valley, 2617 – 2776

The boys’ varsity had a close game against Valley High School Dec. 7, but took a loss and went home defeated, adding to the varsity score of 1-5-0. Many of the top scores got strikes and Owen Smith, ’20 lead the varsity team with the score of 391, and Aidan Cooley, ’18 with 385 points. They started off well in game one and game two. They then had to do five team rounds together.
For the girls’ team, this year is full of new girls followed by the veteran of Chantell Foster, ’19, leading them forward. After three years of winning state, its speculated if they will win again, but again they are going off with a strong score of 5-1-0. For this game, Madison Singleton ’19 was the star with the score of 412 and Foster with having a score of 407, heavily outweighed the boys with the leading scores.
