The prom committee declared the prom theme Arabian Nights.
Seniors in advisory were given a ballot to vote on their favorite theme Feb. 13. Those choices were Arabian Nights, Masquerade, Imperial Dreams, and Touch of Class.
Principal Brent Riessen approved the choices beforehand.
The following afternoon, prom committee tallied up the votes for most popular.
“The advisories votes were all very close and prom committee made the final call for Arabian Nights,” prom committee advisor Kyla Burns said.
The colors for this year’s theme will be gold and turquoise.
Prom will be held at the Vets Conventional center downtown on May 4, but decorating plans have already begun.
“We have to decorate the stage, entrance, tables, ceiling and grand march,” Burns said.
