Racing in the rain
Sprinting down the track junior Johnny Pater faces the rain through his relay. The boys’ and girls’ track team headed down to Drake April 29 through April 30.

The Drake Relays took place April 27-30, with high school events beginning April 28, continuing through April 30. Students participated in 16 events throughout the the three days.
Two of the top Johnston competitors included junior Patrick Bose who completed the boys 3200 coming in, in fourth place with a final time of 9:19.29, and junior Ellie Roquet who competed in the girls high jump finishing in fifth place with a height of 1.62 meters.
