Rumor bust: iPad purchasing

In the March 2016 issue on page six, the Black and White printed an incorrect statement. “You can buy your iPad at the end of your senior year.” After clarification with Ryan Witt from iPad HQ about the statement, iPads cannot be purchased at the end of your senior year. The confusion comes from the 5o dollar deposit required when a student receives an iPad. However at the end of the year if the iPad is not returned you will still be charged the full price of an iPad, and not just the 5o dollar deposit. Selling school resources is against school policy, and was never an option.
