Simon Estes visits student council lunches to talk to students

Simon Estes, a world renowned opera singer, came to talk to student council members during lunch Oct. 11 about a fundraiser he is starting in Iowa.

Estes is trying to get students to sell CDs to help buy nets to prevent Malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. Estes performed a short version of “God Bless America” for the students.

Student council plans on starting up the fundraiser within the next couple of weeks.
