Olivia Swalley ’23 Competes at the girls State Swim meet.

The day opened with the Diving Finals, both Olivia Miner 24′ and Ali Olson 24′ competing for their first time at state.  Olivia finished the meet in 29th place overall, and Ali finished in 26th place.

Our swim team took a 6th place finish with 162 points!

In the 500 free, Olivia Frantum 23′ earned a podium finish in 4th place overall.  In the same heat, Faith Frantum 25′ was a runner-up position on the podium.  

In the 200 free relay, the team of Lydia Yeutsy 23′, Kassady Taylor 22′, Faith Frantum 25′ and Izzy Osborne 22′ had a 14th place finish.

In the 100 breaststroke, Emy Cerbin 25′ earned a 15th place overall finish. Olivia Swalley 23′ came into this event as defending state champion, and finished with a 1 second victory as she picked up another championship! Her time is an all American Consideration time and the 6th fastest of ALL-TIME in the 100 breaststroke in Iowa!

In the 400 freestyle relay, the team of Gianna Stasi 24′, Faith Frantum 25′, Olivia Frantum 23′ and Olivia Swalley 23′ earned a 6th place podium finish!

In the 50 Free, Izzy Osborne 22′ finished at 16th place.
