Students volunteer at Kids Fest

Bounce houses, craft tables, clowns and fun activities filled the annual Kid’s Fest at the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds March 1-3.

The Kid’s Fest is held every year to help Iowa’s at-risk children and families. It is the largest children’s festival in Iowa, and aims to help restore hope for Iowa’s families in need as well as give its participants a fun experience.

Johnston high school students helped make the event a success by volunteering at various stations through out the weekend.
