Thatcher and Ganzer perform at Friedrich’s

Sophomores Joe Thatcher and Grant Ganzer performed at Friedrich’s coffee shop Oct. 26.

The two got the idea from their friend, Garry Meyer, who’s dad owns the shop.

“I just asked if we could come play,” Ganzer said. “We were just kind of hoping people come grab a cup of coffee and then hang out and listen for a bit.”

Ganzer has played at a few coffee shops before, but it was Thatcher’s first time.

The two got paid only by tips, but plan on performing on a regular basis eventually getting paid by the owner.

“There is no set date yet,” Thatcher said. “But it will definitely be soon.”

There will be flyers around school to promote when the two will be performing again.
