After cutting ties with his former metalcore band Volumes, vocalist Michael Barr recently released a song called “Where You Been”. The song is entirely made up of clean vocals contrary to his former band whose songs consisted of mostly harsh vocals. The song was released Jan. 16 along with an emotional music video which takes place in the middle of the night. The tone of the music as well as the visuals give this song the 3 a.m. mood. Overall, Barr deserves a 4 out of 5 for the song because of the clean and refreshing vocals as well as the low and emotional tones.
