Battling it out against their Waukee opponents throughout the game at home Jan. 12 starting at 7:45 p.m. the boys’ varsity basketball team finished a close game against the Warriors. Just falling short in the final seconds with a buzzer beating shot by Waukee senior Adam Rose. The final score was 98-105 in triple overtime. The varsity boys’ are now 2-8 and will play 7-2 Ames at home Friday, Jan. 15 starting at 7:45 p.m. the varsity girls’ game will be playing before at 6:15 p.m.
