Boys’ golf ties for seventh at state

The boys’ golf team concluded their season tying for seventh at the state tournament that took place on Oct. 7-8. It was held at the 18-hole course at the Tournament Club of Iowa (TCI) in Polk City. “We finished a little lower than we thought we would, but we got a lot of compliments from people all over the state,” head coach Steve Smith said.

Golfer Caleb Peters ’18 agreed. “It just wasn’t our time, it was windy and any mistakes were magnified because of that.”

Nathan Petrak ’19: 79/84
