Network and server specialist Wesley Bresson recently sent out an email to the students in order to inform them about an “Internet downtime” on Saturday Feb. 1. Students and staff will not be able to use the Internet on their school issued iPad starting at 10 a.m. “An upgrade to our Internet filter is needed,” Bresson said. “This is the product we use that allows or denies access to certain websites on the Internet. When you see that access denied page on the Internet on your iPad, that would be our Internet filter.” The downtime should only last for a short amount of time on Saturday.
