Varsity wrestling dominates against Urbandale J-Hawks

Pinning an Urbandale opponent senior Ethan Ksiazek who goes on to win the match. Ksiazek and other varsity members competed Jan. 14 at home against the J-Hawks.

Matched against Urbandale Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. the varsity scored another home win with a score of 55-9. Senior wrestler Ethan Ksiazek won by decision (8-3) against an Urbandale opponent and teammates sophomores Zach Price and Elliot Pohlmeyer won with falls. The varsity team has won the last two home meets against Ottumwa (42-18) and Waukee (34-20) on Jan. 7. The varsity and JV wrestle next on Friday, Jan. 15 at Bettendorf high school.
