Johnston’s Big Give presents a talent show

As part of Johnston’s Big Give they are presenting a talent show to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The talent show will be featuring 20 or more acts put on by students at the school.

If a student would like to show a talent at this school sponsored event they should sign up in room 202.

Auditions for the talent show will be Jan. 15 from 2:10 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and  Jan. 16 from 3:10 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the auditorium. People who are waiting to try out are welcome to sit in the auditorium and watch the other acts.

“We are watching for appropriateness and making sure acts will be well received by the audience,” Kate Fjelstad, judge, senior and talent show committee member said.

The talent show welcomes everyone to attend and will be held in the JMS auditorium at 7:00 p.m. Jan. 30.  Tickets are on sale at the accounting office at $5 each.

On average the Johnston’s Big Give raises $1,500 during the talent show.
