Marching band drum majors dressed up as Toy Story characters to fit the theme of their half time performance. Junior Marcus Miller dressed as Buzz Lightyear, junior Meredith Toebben as Bo Peep, senior Andrew Boge as Woody and senior Samantha Long as Jesse. Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep began in a toy chest, then popped out. During the first 24 bars of the song Bo Peep and Buzz Lightyear wandered around. “We will act confused, like we don’t know what we are doing in a band,” Miller said. They soon realize what they should be doing and begin conducting. The marching band debuted this for the first time Sept. 13.
