Team Gearhart conquers Senior Challenge

With anticipation and perspiration, 204 seniors competed in “Senior Challenge”, hosted by Student Council at the high school May 18 from 5:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A total of 17 teams and sponsors participated in 10 different games that involved various skill sets and strategies while 45 judges were present keeping score. The top three teams with the highest scores then competed in finals, which included the following sponsors: Hrubetz, Cross and Gearhart. Final competitors ended the night with a strategic frozen t-shirt contest and trivial questions, with Gearhart’s “Irish Green” team taking first place.
