Annual baseball showcase benefits players, community
August 25, 2014
The Never Say Can’t Foundation had a successful event with more baseball players attending the showcase than in the previous year.
The showcase is designed for young baseball players to receive feedback from collegiate level baseball coaches on their skills. Various college coaches gave their time to make the showcase successful, coming from Coe College, Cornell College, Luther College, and many more.
Money made at the showcase goes back into the community to let softball and baseball players have more opportunities in the community. The event was held July 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Johnston baseball field and football field.
