Students qualify for State Special Olympics

After being rewarded blue ribbons, students Miranda Kerr and Mason Marek qualified for state bowling in the Special Olympics after they competed at Plaza Lanes Oct. 20. Other participants from around the state fought for their spot, including students Becky Scoles, Mpwanga Ntambwe, Erin Gardner and Isabel Henderson. Kerr and Marek will be participating at the state competition Nov. 19.
